In this course students will be introduced to the historical and Biblical significance of the Seven Churches of Asia mentioned in Jesus’ letters to those churches in Revelation chapters 2 and 3. Special emphasis will be given to the city of Ephesus and the events of Acts chapter 19.

• Students will have a basic understanding of some of the major cities of the Roman province of Asia during the First Century.
• Students will gain a rudimentary knowledge of archaeological discoveries in Smyrna, Pergamos, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia, Laodicea and Ephesus.
• Students will be able to identify the Seven Churches of Asia and state the Biblical significance of these cities.
